ANÁLISE COMPLEMENTAR DA POPULAÇÃO DE SARDINHA DA COSTA SUL DO BRASIL

The sardine population of southern coast of Brazil (23°S) exploited by the fishing fleet of Santos, from 1967 to 1970, presented total mortality rate (mean) of 98% per year. The equilibrium of the production per unit effort (Fig.1) suggests a high recruitment according to Santos et al. (1969).
