Summary:This article wills to analyse the artistic and cultural relationship between France and Spain about 1920, when a group of Catalan artists where invited to exhibit their works in a special room of the Salon d’Automne. The idiosyncrasy of the French and Spanish cultural tendencies will be analysed, and a particular interest will be given the activities, evolution and critical reception of the Spanish figurative artists working I the French capital city during the two first decades of the 20th century.
