Summary:The article studies the main ways of preserving a pragmatic dominant within the process of German-Russian translation of advertizing messages. Challenges in achieving adequate perlocution effect are preconditioned, first of all, not by verbalization systems diversity only but differences in linguocultural code, and therefore the changes are to be introduced not only at the level of formal text expression, but also as regards those archetypic representations which are the cornerstone of the advertizing message.
