Summary: | In view of the large-scale development and utilization of China's water resources, water conservancy projects have developed toward high heads, large flows, and high flow rates.Research has focused on high-speed flow scour, sand wear, and accompanying cavitation damage. The selection of materials shows that:①NE-Type II epoxy mortar has good abrasion resistance, mechanical properties, workability, carbonization resistance, aging resistance, and durability.②Polyurea coating has good abrasion resistance, environmental protection, strength, yellowing resistance, aging resistance, water resistance, stable performance, and low temperature flexibility to ensure smooth flow surface, which is a new type of environmental-protection waterproof protective elastic paint.③HF concrete has good workability, excellent crack resistance, low cost and mature technology.④The polyurethane sealant is easy to operate, fast in construction, bonded well with concrete, excellent in resilience, good in aging resistance, and free of flow at high temperature and brittle fracture at low temperature.NE-Type II epoxy mortar,HF concrete, polyurethane sealant are featured with strong resistance to high-speed flow scour, sand wear, and accompanying cavitation damage. Therefore, they are proper to select as repair material for high-speed flow scour, sand wear and damage. |
