| Summary: | Abstract: Material on the History of Islamic Civilization is less interesting material for students, because the material studied is an event that has occurred and is memorized. Learning will be boring if the teacher teaches in conventional ways such as lectures. This results in low student learning outcomes. Therefore, teachers need to look for interesting alternative methods such as story methods based on collaborative learning. The research aims to find out how the implementation of the story method based on collaborative learning improves student learning outcomes at SMK Negeri 1 Cibadak. The research uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method. The research subjects were 34 students in class X B4. The research results show that the story method based on collaborative learning can improve student learning outcomes after being carried out in 3 cycles. At the reflection stage, it was concluded that the main thing that must be considered in implementing the method is the role of the teacher in assisting when discussing and preparing the story to be presented. The story method based on collaborative learning is a fun and interesting method for students. This method can improve students' cognitive, affective and psychomotor skills and can improve students' collaboration and communication skills.
Abstrak: Materi Sejarah Peradapan Islam menjadi materi yang kurang menarik bagi siswa, karena materi yang dipelajari adalah suatu peristiwa yang telah terjadi dan bersifat hafalan. Pembelajaran akan membosankan jika guru mengajar dengan cara konvensional seperti ceramah. Hal tersebut berakibat pada rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu guru perlu mencari alternative metode yang menarik seperti metode kisah berbasis collaborative learning. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi metode kisah berbasis collaborative learning dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di SMK Negeri 1 Cibadak. Penelitian menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X B4 yang berjumlah sebanyak 34 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan metode kisah berbasis collaborative learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa setelah dilakukan dalam 3 siklus. Pada tahap refleksi disimpulkan bahwa hal utama yang harus diperhatikan dalam pelaksanaan metode adalah peran guru dalam pendampingan saat berdiskusi dan menyiapkan kisah yang akan dipresentasikan. Metode kisah berbasis collaborative learning merupakan metode yang menyenangkan dan menarik bagi siswa. Metode ini dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif, afektif, psikomotorik serta dapat meningkatkan ketrampilan bekerjasama dan komunikasi siswa. |
