Description
Summary:In this article, the poem, written by Mikhail Lermontov in the XIXth century, “Vykhozhu odin ya na dorogu” is translated into Spanish applying the following theories: Poetic translation, Metrical metaphorism, Translation recreation and Fidelity. The goal is to maintain an equilibrium between the originality of the translator and the characteristics of the original. To do so, the verses are analysed from metrical, historic-cultural and semantic perspectives based on the method of semantic equivalence analysis to avoid imprecision when the translation could be transparent and to choose the correct moments in which the translator can be original.
