description This paper studies the event-triggered practical finite-time tracking of state-constrained high-order nonlinear systems. By introducing nonlinear mappings into the adding a power integrator technique, asymmetric full-state constraints can be tackled without imposing restrictive approximation techniques and feasibility conditions. It is proved that asymmetric full-state constraints are not transgressed, the solution of the closed-loop system is practical finite-time stable, and the tracking error converges to an adjustable compact set around zero in a finite time. The designed event-triggered controller consumes less communication resources and ensures better control performance in the constrained control framework. A simulation example shows the effectiveness of this control scheme.
