Liquid-phase oxidation of hydroxylamine with ultrasonic irradiation
The sonochemical oxidation of hydroxylamine in alkaline aqueous, aqueous-methanol and methanol solutions yielded peroxonitrite ion as a main product. A little nitrite and nitrate were also formed.
