Heterosis of colored hybrid cotton by using Cytoplasmic Male-sterility (CMS)
The observation of 19 hybrid combinations (F<sub>1</sub>) of brown cotton between sterile and restorer line revealed that the average number of boll and lint yield per hybrid plant increased by 3.9 and 15.2% respectively compared with those of the inbred plants. There were 9 combinations...
