Titulescu`s contribution to the interwar challenges was a memorable one. Among which we remember his contribution in reforming the stipulations of the Four-Power Pact. Why? Because Europe, which at that time had a fragile security balance, was also in the midst of massive efforts to temper the revisionist tendencies and signing such an agreement would not only cancel previous agreements but would also open the way for revision of the post-war treaties. The Romanian and international historiography has shown sufficient interest towards this subject and also Titulescu's contribution in this matter had been tangentially touched. Nevertheless I would like to highlight in this article the reaction of French politicians towards signing of the Pact and also the repercussions against the Romanian-French relationship
