Four common infectious skin conditions Tinea corporis, Pityriasis versicolor, Scabies, Larva migrans
Four dermatological conditions, all with well-established pathogens, will be discussed in this article: tinea corporis (dermatophyte infection), pityriasis versicolor (an asymptomatic infection) caused by the yeast Pityrosporon orbiculare) and two parasitic infestations, scabies and larva migrans.
