Description
Summary:This article reports on the main natural segments of the Alagoan territory and presents a rational technique that portrays the landscape in a comprehensive sectoral drawing, based on topology. Due to the natural ecological order, there are few studies that demonstrate the hydro space modeling of the mini-catchments, which are exactly the spatial substrate that shows the physiographic nature of the place. The watersheds are important elements, as territorial unit of planning, because they suggest the relation between environmental components and anthropic activities. This Ecology of Landscape, refers to the morphological vectors of topography, drawn by drainage, that deserve to be equated in Environmental Planning. It was based on watersheds, at different scales, from the regional to the micro. As a result, the spatial synthesis of mini-catchments and their patterns were obtained from a discretization method. The territory of Alagoas reveals hydrographic regions, as well as, morphological portions of the water space, considering the patterns drawn by the hydrographic decoding. The segments proven by the physiographic structural result are important as a premise for the ecological perception and integrated understanding of the landscape.
