Outage probability and capacity analysis of distributed MIMO systems over a composite fading channel by Wen-jie PENG, Yue-heng LI, Tuan-jie XUE, Mei-yan JU, Ping HUANG

    Published 2015-02-01
“…The exact closed-form expressions about the outage probability and capacity of distributed MIMO systems over a composite fading channel are derived firstly by using Lognormal approximation to complicated Gamma-lognormal distribution when mobile station (MS) in the cell is fixed at some position and the so-called maximum ratio transmission/selected combining (MRT-SC) and selected transmission/maximum ratio combining (ST-MRC) schemes are adopted in uplink and downlink respectively. Then based on a newly proposed non-uniform MS cell distribution model, which is more consistent with the MS cell hotspot distribution in an actual communication environment, the average outage probability and capacity formulas synthesizing the MS cell position information are further derived. Finally, the accuracy of the approximation method and the rationality of the corresponding theoretical analysis about the system performance are proven and illustrated by computer simulations.…”

Fracture instability and pre-splitting weakening characteristics of composite hard roof under mining action by Yanjun LI

    Published 2025-06-01
“…The supporting and restraining effect of the lower hard roof caving gangue on the upper hard roof is weakened, the rotation amplitude and energy of the broken rock block are reduced, and the synergistic failure effect of the upper and lower hard roofs is effectively suppressed. When advancing to the first square position, the total energy of microseismic events and the peak value of advanced stress of coal body after pre-splitting of composite hard roof are 62.5% and 31.5% lower than those before pre-splitting, respectively. …”

Finite Element Analysis of Moisture Absorption and Aging Behaviors of CF/PPESK Composite at Different Temperatures by LI Yupeng, TONG Ye, LEI Mingkai

    Published 2025-01-01
“…Polyarylethersulfoneketone (PPESK) composite materials can be used as high-temperature resistant coatings and wear-resistant self-lubricating materials, which are widely used in the protection of nuclear power equipment parts. To study the effect of temperature on the moisture absorption behavior of CF/PPESK composites, a two-dimensional composite model was established, and the moisture absorption behavior and moisture absorption stress distribution rules of CF/PPESK composites under 25 ℃and 100 ℃conditions were studied by ABAQUS.Based on the obtained moisture concentration field data, the moisture absorption stress field of CF/PPESK composites with changes in temperature and time was analyzed. Results showed that the moisture diffusion in CF/PPESK composites basically followed Fick’s diffusion law.The higher the temperature, the faster the moisture absorption equilibrium was reached, and the greater the moisture absorption stress. When longterm moisture absorption at high temperature caused the material to be saturated with moisture, the maximum stress reached 140.2 MPa, and the maximum moisture absorption stress occurred in the substrate area where the fiber arrangement spacing was the smallest.…”
