Enhanced Multistage Differential Transform Method: Application to the Population Models
Published 2012-01-01“…In E-MsDTM, we propose the new technique to update an initial condition by using integral operator. To demonstrate efficiency of the proposed method, several numerical tests are performed and compared with ones obtained by other numerical methods such as MsDTM, multistage variational iteration method (MVIM), and fourth-order Runge-Kutta method (RK4).…”

Orbitrap noise structure and method for noise unbiased multivariate analysis
Published 2025-07-01“…Using a stable primary ion beam to provide a well-controlled source of ions from a silver sample, we find that noise has three characteristic regimes: at low signals the Orbitrap detector noise and a censoring algorithm dominates; at intermediate signals counting noise specific to the ion emission process is most significant; and at high signals additional sources of measurement variation become important. Using this understanding, we developed a generative model for Orbitrap data that accounts for the noise distribution and introduce a scaling method, termed WSoR, to reduce the effects of noise bias in multivariate analysis. …”

Statistical Downscaling Method for Vegetation Optical Depth Based on NDVI
Published 2025-01-01“…There are currently two primary approaches for downscaling VOD. One involves integrating active microwave remote sensing, while the other involves integrating optical remote sensing.Currently, there is limited research focused on downscaling VOD, particularly using optical vegetation indices, which is very uncommon. Thus, statistical methods can be employed in conjunction with NDVI to spatially downscale VOD, exploring the feasibility of using optical remote sensing data for VOD downscaling. …”
