Productivity and ecological functions of naturally regrown pine forests of the Ukrainian Polissia by Petro Lakyda, Volodymyr Blyshchyk

    Published 2024-10-01
“…Their parameters functionally depend on the productivity of forest stands, the mass of the photosynthetic apparatus (needles) and indicators of the basic density of living biomass components. Based on the indicators of basic wood density (341 kg·(m3)-1), the studied stands have a slightly lower density compared to other pine forests of the Ukrainian Polissia zone, which are characterized by high moisture content in wood at a young age, soil conditions (structure, mechanical composition, fertility), which has a significant impact on the formation of late wood, and, consequently, on its density. …”

FORMATION OF OUTPUT YIELD OF GREEN BEANS DEPENDING ON SCHEME AND DENSITY OF PLANTING IN CONDITIONS OF STEPPE OF THE UKRAINE by V. M. Chernetskiy, O. O. Kostyuk, О. А. Vlasuk

    Published 2015-06-01
“…Under the conditions of Steppe  of the Ukraine during 2010-2012 a scheme  of planting and plant population of beans played a big role on the formation of a yield of green  beans variety Ukrainian Sloboda.   The highest  yield of cv. Ukrainian Sloboda; 13.5 t / ha; was obtained when the density of planting was 148;1 thousand plants/hectare  and the scheme of planting was 45х15.…”
