Cannabinoids reduce markers of inflammation and fibrosis in pancreatic stellate cells.
Published 2008-02-01“…
Conclusions/significance
Augmentation of the endocannabinoid system via exogenously administered cannabinoid receptor agonists specifically induces a functionally and metabolically quiescent pancreatic stellate cell phenotype and may thus constitute an option to treat inflammation and fibrosis in chronic pancreatitis.…”

ON POTENTIAL REPRESENTATIONS OF THE DISTRIBUTION LAW OF RARE STRONGEST EARTHQUAKES
Published 2015-09-01“…In terms of the multiplicative cascade model, seismic regime is treated as a large number of episodes of avalanche-type relaxation of metastable states which take place in a set of metastable sub-systems.The model of magnitude-unlimited continuation of the Guttenberg – Richter law is invalid from the physical point of view because it corresponds to an infinite mean value of seismic energy and infinite capacity of the process generating seismicity. …”

Harnessing TGF-β signaling to improve testicular organoid development from dissociated testicular cells
Published 2025-08-01“…The stimulatory effects of the TGF-β inhibition were attributed to the promoted proliferation of cells, as demonstrated by up-regulation of cell cycle promoting genes, down-regulation of proliferation inhibitor genes, and up-regulation of proliferation genes, as well as increased number of proliferative germ cells in the treated TOs. Conclusion This work presents a simple and efficient method for development of well-organized and functional TOs which can be investigated as a complementary treatment with any other TO culture systems.…”

Modification of surface layers by high energy treatment
Published 2019-08-01“…Exposure to laser radiation leads to a change in the temperature field of the substance being treated. The nature of heating, which is determined by the rate of change of temperature, temperature gradients, the time to reach the temperatures of structural and phase transitions, is different depending on the properties of the material being processed and the processing conditions. When modifying the surface layers by high-energy processing by changing the power and time of exposure to laser radiation, you can get a wide range of structural states of the treated surface areas of the material. It is shown that the shape of TVP diagrams and cooling curves of precision alloys on the surface of a two-layer metal system after heating them with laser radiation are determined by the competition of two processes acting in opposite directions: an increase in the driving force of the crystallization process with an increase in supercooling and a decrease in the surface of atoms. The method of surface modification by moving laser radiation allows to obtain amorphous functional layers of precision alloys on the surface of metal products.…”
