Evolution of the activities of states as reflected in legal and political Teachings by A. A. Klishin

    Published 2020-12-01
“…The return of the law to its traditional, system-level basics that are clear to everyone taking part in the social relations is often facilitated by crises, such as the one in place today when the existing challenges and problems are complemented by the objective force majeure events like the virus attack in 2020 which the amorphous “network-based” instruments or not entirely just and efficient elements of the “international legal order” cannot cope with, as opposed to the active governmental and legal mechanisms of sovereign states capable of ensuring the balance of legal instruments and administrative levers of management in crisis situations.MATERIALS AND METHODS. …”

Tetraethylammonium Cation Activates Fe for Selective Electroreduction of CO2 to Oxalate by Rohan Sartape, Rohit Chauhan, Venkata S. R. P. Yadavalli, Ishita Goyal, Ishaku Amos, Yancun Qi, Vamsi V. Gande, Abdul M. Sarkar, Ksenija D. Glusac, Meenesh R. Singh

    Published 2025-07-01
“…At optimal cation concentrations, the developed eCO2R system achieves 25 mA cm−2 of current density and Faradaic Efficiencies up to 75% toward oxalate. Furthermore, in situ attenuated total reflectance Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy indicates the presence of surface‐adsorbed TEA cations and other species on the Fe surfaces, leading to the well‐known outer‐sphere mechanism of electron transfer during eCO2R. …”

Spectral Tuning and Angular–Gap Interrogation of Terahertz Spoof Surface Plasmon Resonances Excited on Rectangular Subwavelength Grating Using Attenuated Total Reflection in Otto C... by Oleg Kameshkov, Vasily Gerasimov, Boris Goldenberg, Vladimir Nazmov

    Published 2025-06-01
“…In this paper, we experimentally investigated the excitation of spoof surface plasmon polaritons (SSPPs) supported by a 1D subwavelength grating with a rectangular profile in the terahertz (THz) frequency range. Using the attenuated total reflection technique and the THz radiation of the Novosibirsk free electron laser, we carried out detailed studies of both angular and gap spectra at several wavelengths. …”

Energy-efficiency priority based beamforming design and optimization in IRS-assisted SWIPT system by Xiaorong XU, Weiwei ZHU, Jianrong BAO, Weiping ZHU, Wei FENG, Yingbiao YAO

    Published 2022-01-01
“…Intelligent reflecting surface (IRS)-assisted simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) system is set as research background.Joint design and optimization of energy-efficiency priority based active beamforming at multi-antenna transmitter and passive beamforming at IRS were investigated. The optimization objective was to maximize minimum energy-efficiency, which was subject to transmitter power control, energy constraint at energy harvesting (EH) receiver and IRS phase shift constraint.Alternating direction method of multipliers (ADMM) was implemented to solve this non-linear non-convex optimization problem.Firstly, the fraction objective function was transformed via Dinkelbach’s approach.Singular value decomposition (SVD) andsemi-definite relaxation (SDR) were applied to obtain active beam forming vector at transmitter.Simulation results indicate that, IRS assisted SWIPT could significantly reduce energy threshold at EH receiver. The achievable energy-efficiency of the proposed strategy is 300 KB/J when total circuit power consumption is -15 dBm.Maximum energy-efficiency can be achieved with the maximum numbers of passive reflecting elements and transmitter antennas.…”
