Development of Data and Computing Convergent Network by Yunjie Liu, Shuo Wang, Tao Huang, Jiasen Wang

    Published 2025-02-01
“…Moreover, the study introduces application scenarios and cases of DCCNs, including east‒west data-center interconnections, computing power networks in urban areas, industrial extranet interconnections, energy facility interconnections, and industry-scale large models. Research also covers the challenges of developing DCCNs, based on which, we propose the following suggestions for developing the DCCN: (1) establishing public specialized networks that support the high-quality development of industry-scale large models; (2) promoting the construction of DCCN-based scientific facilities, serving national scientific development; (3) using the DCCN to promote applications in data spaces; (4) carrying out large-scale collaboration among computing facilities to overcome the bottleneck of insufficient computing capability at a single point. …”

Reshaping Social Spaces After Socialism Through Citizen Participation: The Case of Novo Sarajevo’s Post-Conflict Neighborhoods by Isra Tatlić, Nermina Zagora

    Published 2025-03-01
“…By correlating the socio-spatial factors of transition, this article explores the post-socialist residential neighborhoods of Novo Sarajevo that were once divided by the frontline during the siege of Sarajevo, particularly their current status and the potential for the transformation of the remaining indoor and outdoor social spaces. The model employed for redefining social spaces in vulnerable areas emphasizes user participation, and was tested through an academic research project to address collective issues. …”

Assessing neonatal brain glymphatic system development using diffusion tensor imaging along the perivascular space and choroid plexus volume by Ting Peng, Ying Lin, Xin Xu, Jiaqi Li, Miaoshuang Liu, Chaowei Zhang, Xiaohui Liao, Xiaoshan Ji, Zhongmeng Xiong, Zhuoyang Gu, Xinyi Cai, Tianli Tao, Yajuan Zhang, Lixuan Zhu, Deyi Zhuang, Xianghui Huang, Man Xiong, Peng Zhang, Jungang Liu, Guoqiang Cheng

    Published 2025-04-01
“…We investigated non-invasive magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) biomarkers of glymphatic system and their developmental correlates in neonates. Methods In 117 neonates undergoing high-resolution T1-weighted and diffusion MRI, we quantified two glymphatic metrics: (1) diffusion tensor imaging along the perivascular space (DTI-ALPS) index, reflecting perivascular fluid dynamics; (2) choroid plexus (CP) volume, a cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) production marker. …”
