Study of the Preparation of Carbon Material for H2〖KG-3mm〗S Removingwith the Extractive Solution of Plant Ash as Activator
Published 2019-10-01“…In this paper, the extractive solution of corn cob ash is used as activator instead of the traditional chemical activator for pyrolysis sewage treatment plant sludge to make adsorption of carbon materials We determine the best preparation conditions of the sample by the indicators such as the penetration time of H2S and the adsorbing capacity of iodine and methylene blue It turns out that the material has the best deodorization efficiency, H2S penetrating time can be 145 min much higher than commercially available activated carbon’s performance as the 〖JP2〗concentration of H2S is no more than 300mg〖DK1〗·m-3 iodine adsorbing 8674mg〖DK1〗·g-1 and methylene blue 3994mg〖DK1〗·g-1 〖JP〗when the quality of sludge and the corn cod ash ratio of 1〖DK1〗∶2, the activation temperature at 600℃, 15 hour accompany with N2 atmosphere Thermogravimetric analysis of excess sludge show that the formation of holes of sludge carbon material mainly occur in the range of 178℃~600℃; SEM and BET indicate that the material has rough surface developed mestopore structure, and FTIR rich oxygen containing function groups These characters are all conducive to remove and adsorb H2S…”
