Phygital learning ecosystems and places beyond 2030 by Carlo Giovannella, Giuseppe Roccasalva

    Published 2025-05-01
“…Four the guiding principles, discussed in the article, that are expected to be followed: centrality and openness of the spaces to the territory of reference, functional specificity, flexibility, affordance. Also discussed are the qualities – sensitive, enabling, engaging – that should characterise the integration of new technologies within the spaces of SLEs to make them phygital, together with the trends that are expected to characterise the phygital transformation in the future.…”

241 cases of idiopathic membranous nephropathy patients with clinical and pathological correlation analysis by XU Dan, LU Chen

    Published 2015-01-01
“…Objective To study the clinicopathological features and the factor of renal insufficiency with idiopathic membranous nephropathy(IMN).Methods The pathological data of 214 patients with biopsy-proven IMN who were treated in People’s Hospital of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region form January 2010 to March 2015 were analyzed retrospectively. The patients grouped according to the estimate glomerular filtration rate(eGFR) and 24 h urinary protein, analysising the clinical pathological characteristics and finding the risk factors for the decline of renal function. Results 214 IMN patients(171 males and 70 females, the male to female ratio was 2.4:1) involved, all of them has different levels of proteinuria,25 patients(10.4%) had proteinuria>10 g/24 h.There is a statistically significant on serum albumin(Alb),urine beta2-microglobulin(β2-MG),FSGS and renal tubular interstitial damage among the eGFR-group,smoking status and eGFR has significant among the 24 h proteinuria groups.Renal pathological changes were not related to sex.Pathological staging has positive correlation with age(r=0.137,P= 0.034),serum creatinine(r=0.208,P=0.001),24-hour urine protein(r=0.125,P=0.014),urine IgG(r=0.131,P=0.043),urine β2-MG(r=0.150,P=0.020) and renal tubular interstitial damage(r=0.238,P=0.035),negative correlation with Alb(r=-0.089,P=0.019) and eGFR(r=-3.331,P=0.000).Multiple regression analysis suggest that age, serum albumin, proteinuria level, urinary IgG and renal tubular interstitial damage are independent risk factors for renal function decline.95%CI were(1.066,1.158),(0.930,1.063),(1.904,2.545),(1.008,1.075) and(0.163,1.116).Conclusions The high stage of glomerular, renal tubular interstitial damage and renal function declined is obvious in IMN patients who was older, massive excret of proteinuria,IgG and urine β-MG.Which should be give positive treatment, smoking patients should be quit as soon as possible.…”

Guidelines for the measurement of oxygen consumption rate in Caenorhabditis elegans by Anna Gioran, Niki Chondrogianni

    Published 2025-09-01
“…In this work, we have employed a newly developed system (Resipher) for the measurement of OCR in C. elegans and we outline basic protocols as well as the pharmacological interventions that can be used to assess the function of the respiratory chain. More specifically, we demonstrate the importance of the number of animals used in measurements that include mitochondrial complex inhibitors, how the presence of bacteria when used as a food source for the nematodes should be carefully considered and/or eliminated and how to avoid artefacts when measuring differently sized nematodes. …”

    Published 2023-01-01
“…Our model, on the other hand, loses its stability when the time delay associated with the supply function is fixed at τ=1.8. Since most of the physical systems, including economical systems, are time-delay inherent and such stability conditionalities should not limit their performance, it is recommended that such systems be modelled using delay differential functions. …”

Dynamic and Static Reserve Recharge Characteristics of a Dewatering Well Seepage from an Aquifer Bottom by Sand Tank Seepage Experiment by Wenxue Wang, Jingyuan Xue, Hao Qingyang, Tong Jiang, Jinyu Dong

    Published 2022-01-01
“…Meanwhile, the recharge of dynamic replenishment quickly increases with time following a first-order exponential growth function, which mainly forms the water inflow in the quasi-steady state. (2) The equal time of dynamic and static reserve release and the quasi-steady state time both present a first-order exponential decay function with the decrease of P. (3) The peak water inflow should perform at the beginning of dewatering which presents a little late after the beginning of dewatering and increases with the decreasing of P following a linear function. …”
