KINETIC RELEASE OF POTASSIUM RESERVE IN SOME CALCAREOUS SOILS IN NORTHERN OF IRAQ
Published 2012-10-01“…The study included using successive extraction with 6.25M HCl, under reflux conditions for 100 mint. to determe the amount and rates of release exchangeable and non-exchangeable potassium in some calcareous soil periphery of semictite and illite minerals according to the amount of release of mica-K. by using a kinetic diffusion parabolic equation. The results showed that amount of released potassium was reduced by increasing extraction time, and the variation in chemical, physical and mineralogical properties of the soil samples have a great effect on each amount, rate, and pathway reaction of potassium release between soil series, also the results showed that the pathway reaction of K-release consist of two segments according to the parabolic diffusion equation. …”

Mapping residual stresses in AlSi10Mg alloy fabricated by powder bed fusion-laser beam method
Published 2025-07-01“…Anisotropy in residual stresses was also observed; in the [1̅00] direction, average residual stresses in scanning orientation were ~ 13% and ~ 23% higher than the building direction in as-built and T6-treated samples, respectively. Heat treatment effects were further examined using image-based finite element method (FEM) simulations to understand the stress-driven mechanisms behind Si eutectic break-up and Si precipitate diffusion into the Al matrix. …”
