Autonomous Detection of Mineral Phases in a Rock Sample Using a Space-prototype LIMS Instrument and Unsupervised Machine Learning by Salome Gruchola, Peter Keresztes Schmidt, Marek Tulej, Andreas Riedo, Klaus Mezger, Peter Wurz

    Published 2024-01-01
“…This potential is demonstrated through the examination of a thin section of a terrestrial rock sample in the laboratory. Autonomous isolation of mineral phases within the acquired mass spectrometric data is achieved with two dimensionality reduction techniques: uniform manifold approximation and projection (UMAP) and density-preserving variation of UMAP (densMAP), and the density-based clustering algorithm Hierarchical Density-Based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise (HDBSCAN). …”

The reduction in Contempaerary formation Sculpture by Nibras hashim Thanoon

    Published 2024-12-01
“…The fourth chapter included: the research results, the most important of which were the following: - 1- The presence of shorthand features in contemporary Iraqi sculptural formation gives an indication of the style of the individual artist in terms of style, technique, type, and type of word chosen for expression through the apparent differences in the type of work presented, as stated in all samples of the sample. 2- Much of the impact of environmental and social differences on the expression of some of the sample’s models emerged, which resulted in a variety of methods of reduction in contemporary Iraqi sculptural formation. 3- The diversity of reduction in contemporary Iraqi sculptural formation based on the difference in the expressive performance of reduction in documenting the idea. 4- Through the characteristic of reductionism in contemporary Iraqi sculptural formation, the Iraqi sculptor achieved by conveying a message to the recipient that he is liberated from the characteristic of limitation in expression and the type of work he wants to work on, in addition to open freedom with deep dimensions in interpretation, perception, and reception of the concepts of a single work. 5- Reduction in contemporary Iraqi sculptural formation emphasized the forms of circulating discourses, examining within them a pluralism in style, meaning, and social and historical evidence.   …”

IMPACT OF AGRICULTURAL GROWTH IN POVERTY REDUCTION by Alaa M. Abdullah

    Published 2011-03-01
“…The study identified a sample of selected developing countries in 2004. The findings of the study shows that there is a negative and significant correlation between the rate of agricultural growth and the Gini coefficient of the sample countries, due to the impact of agricultural growth to alleviate poverty, diminish the presence of increasing disparity in income, and agricultural growth alone in the absence of a number of factors that address the situation of disability suffered by the rural sectors which may leave behind large numbers of poor people for a long time, especially in rural areas, as well as the effect of growth in reducing poverty depends on the nature and growth distribution as it depends on its size and speed.…”
