In Silico Analysis of Arabidopsis thaliana Peroxisomal 6-Phosphogluconate Dehydrogenase by Álvaro D. Fernández-Fernández, Francisco J. Corpas

    Published 2016-01-01
“…Arabidopsis contains three 6PGDH genes that probably are encoded for cytosolic, chloroplastic/mitochondrial, and peroxisomal isozymes, although their specific functions remain largely unknown. This study focuses on the in silico analysis of the biochemical characteristics and gene expression of peroxisomal 6PGDH (p6PGDH) with the aim of understanding its potential function in the peroxisomal NADPH-recycling system. …”

Chemoproteomic analysis of the pharmacological properties of vitamin В12 derivatives by I. Yu. Torshin, O. A. Gromova, I. A. Dereven’kov, L. A. Maiorova

    Published 2024-11-01
“…It was shown that the chemoproteomic profiles of each of the compounds form three groups of molecules with similar proteomic properties: (1) aquacobalamin, (2) diaquacobinamide, aquacyano-forms of heptaethanolamine and heptaethylenediamine cobyrinates, (3) aquacyano-forms of heptamethyl and heptabutyl cobyrinates. A more detailed analysis of the chemoproteomic profiles of the studied compounds using the GO (Gene Ontology) nomenclature of biological functions of proteins made it possible to identify functional GO categories indicating differences in the biological effects of the studied compounds: neuroprotective regulation of neurotransmitter activity (serotonin receptor activity, cholinergic synapses, regulation of dopamine secretion, receptor thyroid hormones), reduction of inflammation (inhibition of cytokine biosynthesis, including tumor necrosis factor alpha and interleukin 1 beta, I-kappa-B kinases / nuclear factor kappa В, leukocyte migration), etc.Conclusion. …”

Janich, Xucheng Zhu, Matthias G. Friedrich, Michael Chetrit

    Published 2024-01-01
“…There were no significant differences found across left ventricular volumetry, function, or mass measurements. In contrast, an acceleration factor of 12 resulted in a 6% (5.51/90.16) reduction of measured ejection fraction when compared to the standard cine method and a 4% (4.32/88.98) reduction of measured ejection fraction when compared to Sonic DL at an acceleration factor of 8. …”
