Antifungal and biodegradable nanoencapsulation of Smallanthus Sonchifolius essential oil for improved stability and sustained release by Jiajie Wang, Fei Wang, Yu Zhang, Xun Li

    Published 2025-07-01
“…IntroductionPhytopathogenic fungi pose a serious threat to global crop productivity, necessitating sustainable alternatives to chemical fungicides.MethodsThis study developed poly-ε-caprolactone (PCL) nanospheres encapsulating essential oil extracted from Smallanthus sonchifolius tubers (SsEO) to enhance antifungal stability and efficacy.ResultsThe nanospheres exhibited a high encapsulation efficiency of 98%, significantly improved the photostability of SsEO by protecting it from UV-induced degradation, and provided a sustained-release profile that extended its functional longevity. In vitro assays showed that the nanoencapsulated SsEO inhibited Sclerotinia sclerotiorum and Valsa mali by 93.6% and 56.9%, respectively, while in vivo inhibition rates reached 94.45% and 92.5%.ConclusionThese findings demonstrate that biodegradable, photoprotective PCL nanospheres offer a promising eco-friendly strategy for plant pathogen management, reducing reliance on chemical fungicides, and minimizing environmental impact.environmental impact.…”

Régulation et Croissance Économique au Brésil après la libéralisation : by Miguel Bruno

    Published 2008-12-01
“…However, after almost two decades of adherence to the ideology of globalization, three main trends emerge from a long-term analysis: declining trend in the relative participation of productive capital in the total stock of fixed capital; rapid expansion of financial income, which reaches an average of 29% of gross disposable income during the period 1993/2005, an extremely high financial burden on total income; the corollary of this high financial burden is the trend towards a regime of slow economic growth coupled with a persistent flexibilization of wage-labor nexus and an increase of the functional income concentration. …”

Logiques touristiques en station de haute-montagne : quelles évolutions possibles vers la durabilité ? by Laurent Arcuset

    Published 2009-12-01
“…The article investigates the stakes and difficulties of the implementation of sustainable development in Valloire, asks the question of the "cultural revolution" which the actors should achieve to change the model of economic development, and suggest some tracks to reach there. The local approach of "sustainable tourism", indeed, seems for the moment rather to aim - as in many other high mountain ski resorts - towards a more environmental management of the basic urban functions than a real questioning of a tourist model based upon the triptych development of the ski slopes, securizing of the snow resource and touristic real estate programs.…”
