Complex network clustering algorithm based on Jordan-form of Laplace-matrix by Jian-wei NIU, Bin DAI, Chao TONG, Guan-ying HUO, Jing PENG

    Published 2014-03-01
“…Among existing clustering algorithms, the graph-Laplacian-based spectrum clustering algorithm has rigorous theoretical basis and high accuracy. However, the application of this algorithm is limited by its dependence on the prior knowledge, such as the number and the size of clusters.Based on the Jordan form of graph Laplacian,an algorithm was proposed which can obtain the prior knowledge, and perform the primary clustering based on the eigenvalues of the Jordan form. The modularity density function of clusters was defined, and an improved spectrum clustering algorithm with the help of the function and the primary clustering was proposed. The experiments were conducted on diverse datasets showing that, compared with the classic algorithms such as Fast-Newman and Girvan-Newman,the algorithm can reach a high clustering accuracy and a fast convergence rate.…”

Design and analysis of active queue management algorithm based on predictive control by WANG Ping, CHEN Hong, LU Xiao-hui

    Published 2011-01-01
“…Model predictive control as a novel active queue management(AQM) algorithm was proposed for Internet system with large delay, called MPAQM.Considering the causality of time-delay system, the predicted output was defined. Then, the control requirement was converted to the optimal control objective, and the drop probability was obtained by solving the optimal problem.Furthermore, the delay-independent stability condition of closed-loop system was derived, which gave the guidelines how to select the parameters of MPAQM algorithm to assure the stability and fast convergence of the network system. The performances of MPAQM were evaluated through a series of simulations in NS2 under the single/multiple topology. The simulation results show that the queue length with MPAQM algorithm reaches the desired value with minimal tracking error and lower drop probability.MPAQM algorithm outperforms RED,PI and SPI-RED algorithms in terms of disturbance rejection, stability, and robustness.…”

Novel distinguisher for SM4 cipher algorithm based on deep learning by Huijiao WANG, Xin ZHANG, Yongzhuang WEI, Lingchen LI

    Published 2023-07-01
“…A method was proposed to construct a deep learning distinguisher model for large state block ciphers with large-block and long-key in view of the problem of high data complexity, time complexity and storage complexity of large state block cipher distinguishers, and the neural distinguishers were constructed for SM4 algorithm.Drawing inspiration from the idea that ciphertext difference could improve the performance of distinguishers, a new input data format for neural distinguisher was designed by using partial difference information between ciphertext pairs as part of the training data. The residual neural network model was used to construct the neural distinguisher. The training dataset for large blocks was preprocessed.Additionally, an improved strategy for model relearning was proposed to address the high specificity and low sensitivity of the constructed distinguisher.Experimental results show that the proposed deep learning model for SM4 can achieve 9 rounds neural distinguisher. The accuracy of 4~9 rounds distinguishers can reach up to 100%, 76.14%, 65.20%, 59.28%, 55.89% and 53.73% respectively. The complexity and accuracy of the constructed differential neural distinguisher are significantly better than those of traditional differential distinguishers, and it is currently the best neural distinguisher for the block cipher SM4 to our knowledge. It also proves that the deep learning method is effective and feasible in the security analysis of block cipher of large block.…”
