THE POST-SEDIMENTARY CHARACTER OF DEVELOPMENT OF INTRAPLATE DISLOCATIONS AS A REFLECTION OF IMPULSIVENESS OF DEFORMATION PROCESSES by V. I. Popkov

    Published 2015-09-01
“…In the region under study, the Pre-Jurassic, Pre-Cretaceous (Late Okoma), Pre-Danish and the Pre-Middle Miocene gaps in sedimentation are studied in detail. It is shown that only during the above four periods of sedimentation gaps and accompanying erosion-denudation processes, the regional structures gained from 50 to 80% of their current amplitudes at the bottom of the cover, and the Pre-Danish and Pre-Middle Miocene washout periods were most important.Local uplift also developed impulsively and primarily due to the post-sedimentation movements. …”

A Conceptual Framework to Assess Post‐Wildfire Water Quality: State of the Science and Knowledge Gaps by Sarah M. Elliott, Michelle I. Hornberger, Donald O. Rosenberry, Rebecca J. Frus, Richard M. Webb

    Published 2024-07-01
“…This assessment expands on other reviews and meta‐analyses by exploring causal linkages between influential variables and overall effects in post‐wildfire watersheds. Information gathered from our assessment and the framework itself can be used to inform future monitoring plans and as a guide for modeling efforts focused on better understanding specific processes or to mitigate potential risks of post‐wildfire water quality.…”

Post-stroke outcome prediction based on lesion-derived features by Maedeh Khalilian, Olivier Godefroy, Martine Roussel, Amir Mousavi, Ardalan Aarabi

    Published 2025-01-01
“…We extracted four lesion-derived feature sets: lesion masks, probabilistic structural disconnection maps (pSDMs), structural and indirectly estimated functional connectivity strengths between brain regions, and topological properties of functional and structural brain networks to predict motor, executive, and processing speed deficits in 340 S patients, employing PCA-based ridge regression with leave-one-out cross validation. The findings revealed that both structural disconnection map patterns and lesion masks were strong predictors of functional deficits. …”
