Research on PAPR reduction algorithm based on CWGAN-SLM for multi-wavelet OFDM system by Guang YANG, Zhaoyang WU, Min NIE, Xiaohong YAN, Fan JIANG

    Published 2023-04-01
“…In order to meet the demand for low peak to average ratio (PAPR) of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) technology in the future 6G satellite-ground integrated system, an algorithm combining selective mapping (SLM) algorithm and multi-wavelet OFDM technology was proposed firstly. However, the PAPR reduction was limited and the computational complexity was high.To solve this problem, a multi-wavelet OFDM PAPR reduction algorithm based on conditional Wasserstein generative adversarial network (CWGAN) and SLM was proposed, which was called CWGAN-SLM algorithm.CWGAN was introduced to generate more time-domain alternative signals to reduce the PAPR in the CWGAN-SLM algorithm.Simulation results indicate that the CWGAN-SLM algorithm greatly reduces the PAPR of the system and the computational complexity, and has a lower bit error rate.Compared with the GAN and WGAN, the CWGAN has the advantages of easy training, strong stability and good PAPR performance.…”

Joint QoS prediction for Web services based on deep fusion of features by Jianxun LIU, Linghang DING, Guosheng KANG, Buqing CAO, Yong XIAO

    Published 2022-07-01
“…In order to solve the problem of insufficient accuracy of Web service QoS prediction, a joint QoS prediction method for Web services based on the deep fusion of features was proposed with considering of the hidden environmental preference information in QoS and the common features of multi-class QoS.First, QoS data was modeled as a user-service bipartite graph and multi-component graph convolution neural network was used for feature extraction and mapping, and the weighted fusion method was used for the same dimensional mapping of multi-class of QoS features.Subsequently, the attention factor decomposition machine was used to extract the first-order features, second-order interactive features, and high-order interactive features of the mapped feature vector. Finally, the results of each part were combined to achieve the joint QoS prediction. The experimental results show that the proposed method is superior to the existing QoS prediction methods in terms of root mean square error (RMSE) and average absolute error (MAE).…”

Radio resource and trajectory optimization for UAV assisted communication based on user route by Lei LANG, Jingning WANG, Yi WANG, Zitao ZHAO

    Published 2022-03-01
“…Recently, research on the application of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in wireless communication networks has been widely studied.Aiming at the downlink wireless transmission system of UAV assisted mobile user communication, a method of resource allocation and trajectory optimization based on user route was proposed.According to the known user route, the estimated large-scale channel state information was obtained in advance, and a joint optimization problem of communication bandwidth allocation and trajectory optimization was established to maximize the minimum average rate of users. The problem was a nonconvex optimization problem, and there was nonlinear coupling between the variables.By introducing the method of alternating optimization of auxiliary variables and separated variables, the original problem was decomposed into two approximate convex optimization subproblems which could be solved, and the successive convex approximation was used to iteratively optimize the two subproblems, and an approximate suboptimal solution of the original nonconvex problem was obtained.Simulation results show that the proposed method of resource allocation and trajectory optimization can effectively improve the average data throughput of users, and improve the efficiency of UAV assisted communication on the premise of ensuring the communication quality of all users.…”

Live video transmission optimization mechanism based on edge intelligence in high client-density environment by Xiaodan GU, Wenjia WU, Zhen LING

    Published 2023-11-01
“…The traditional live video transmission optimization mechanism is deployed on the server side, which cannot quickly respond to the dynamic changes of the user’s wireless network environment. To address this problem, a live video transmission optimization mechanism based on edge intelligence called S-Edge was proposed. It was deployed on the OpenWrt-based wireless access point, and comprehensively utilized the wireless channel state information such as airtime utilization and signal-to-noise ratio to make intelligent decisions on terminal priority and transmission rate based on fuzzy logic theory.Furthermore, the active queue management with hierarchical token bucket and service demand-driven wireless transmission rate adaptive control technologies were introduced to realize the real-time scheduling of live video data.In order to verify the effectiveness and performance of the proposed mechanism, a high client-density environment was built through user clusters based on multi-radio interfaces in the real-world scenario.Experimental results show that S-Edge can significantly reduce the average delay and packet loss rate, which meets QoS requirements of live video transmission services in the high client-density environment.…”
