Factors Responsible For School Dropout At Different Levels of Education in Selected Academic Institutions in Kisoro Municipality Southern Division Kisoro District.
Published 2024“…The impact of school dropout among students in Kisoro municipality included social problems 47(21 %), an increased unit of cost of education 24(11 %), unemployment 31 (14%), high levels of crime 39(18%), low academic performance 69(31 %) and increased illiterate population 12(05%). The study findings showed that the remedies or possible measures to address the problem of dropout may include introducing alternative forms of education as reported by 46(21 % ), re-organizations of school systems 23(10% ), investing and improving in quality of schooling 55(25%), enactment of various national laws 32914%), strengthening the USE program 40(18%) and sex education 26(12%). …”
