STUDY REGARDING THE EVOLUTION OF MOUNTAIN TOURISM AND RURAL MOUNTAIN TOURISM IN THE ROMANIAN CARPATHIANS DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC
Published 2021-01-01“…We discovered that even in pandemic times, investors still invested in accommodation structures, and that now more and more tourists choose rural mountain tourism because due to Covid-19 Pandemic they prefer to rent private villas, mountain huts, apartments or holiday homes, trying to maintain the social distance from others, and where they have the possibility to use their own facilities.…”

Galaxy evolution in the post-merger regime. III -- The triggering of active galactic nuclei peaks immediately after coalescence
Published 2025-02-01“…Our main results are: 1) Regardless of the metric used, we find that the peak AGN excess (compared with a matched control sample) occurs immediately after coalescence, at 0 < T_PM < 0.16 Gyr. 2) The excess of AGN is observed until long after coalescence; both the mid-IR selected AGN and broad line AGN are more common than in the control sample even in the longest time bin of our sample (0.96 < T_PM < 1.76 Gyr). 3) The AGN excess is larger for more luminous and bolometrically dominant AGN, and we find that AGN in post-mergers are generally more luminous than secularly triggered events. 4) A deficit of broad line AGN in the pre-merger phase, that evolves into an excess in post-mergers is consistent with evolution of the covering fraction of nuclear obscuring material. …”

Galaxy evolution in the post-merger regime. II -- Post-merger quenching peaks within 500 Myr of coalescence
Published 2024-12-01“…Compared with a control sample of non-interacting galaxies, Ellison et al. (2022) found PSBs to be a factor of 30-60 more common in the post-mergers, demonstrating that mergers can lead to quenching. …”

Airblast evolution initiated by Wangjiayan landslides in the Ms 8.0 Wenchuan earthquake and its destructive capacity analysis
Published 2024-04-01“…ABSTRACT: Airblasts, as one common phenomenon accompanied by rapid movements of landslides or rock/snow avalanches, commonly result in catastrophic damages and are attracting more and more scientific attention. To quantitatively analyze the intensity of airblast initiated by landslides, the Wangjiayan landslide, occurred in the Wenchuan earthquake, is selected here with the landslide propagation and airblast evolution being studied using FLUENT by introducing the Voellmy rheological law. …”

Dynamic evolution and influencing factors of internal and external synergy in China's energy industry: From the perspective of industrial chain
Published 2024-12-01“…Using ArcMap 10.2 and the variance decomposition model, it is found that the upstream and downstream sectors of the energy industry have non-equilibrium in time and space, and their factor mismatch in resource-based regions is still more serious. Therefore, a state of synergy needs to be created between upstream and downstream sectors, between the energy industry and the energy equipment manufacturing industry. …”

Evolution of burnout syndrome in Spanish healthcare professionals during and after the COVID-19 pandemic: psychosocial variables involved
Published 2025-02-01“…In addition, the data point to the different personality factors involved in each of the dimensions. While the evolution of emotional exhaustion seems to be more affected by the levels of symptomatology (i.e., depression) at the onset of the pandemic, and of the inability to handle intrusive thoughts (i.e., cognitive fusion), the evolution of depersonalization and self- fulfillment are more related to long-term cognitive-emotional personality variables such as optimism and hopelessness.Practical implicationsThe results found have important practical implications for the prevention of each of the implicated components of the syndrome. …”
