Theoretical and Experimental Study of Ellipse Tube Type Indirect Evaporative Cooler Wrapped with Absorbing Water Materials by 黄翔, 稽伏耀, 狄育慧, 王玉刚

    Published 2006-01-01
“…Starting from absorbing water materials, configuration of heat exchanger and supplying water ways, designs the configuration of the indirect evaporative cooler(IEC) adopted the measures of intensify translating heat of functional knitting, ellipse type aluminum foil tube, intermittent water supply.Functional knitting is made of abnormity terylene and 'Lanseal' fiber, this intensifies heat-transfer capacity of water film and evaporative cooling of water film surface;Intermittent water supply guarantees that the notches of knitting surface and the fiber grooves cannot be jammed so that it provides more evaporative cooling surface areas;Employs ellipse type aluminum foil tube and optimizes geometrical parameters of space between rows and platoons,in order to get the best characters of heat exchange of IEC.The results of experiments indicate that new tube type IEC can provide near heat exchange efficiency as plan type IEC,but the resistance of tube type IEC less than plan type IEC.…”
