Research of dynamic gesture recognition based on multi-instance learning of kinematics features
Published 2017-11-01“…Compared to static gestures, dynamic gestures had some new characteristics. The problems of dynamic gestures recognition was spewed by using kinematics mode, such as divergence modes, curl modes, symmetric and ant-symmetric modes, the second and third principal invariant modes of the gradient tensor, the second and third principal invariant modes of the strain tensor and the third principal invariant modes of spin tensor; Further,a framework based on multi-instance learning was proposed, organize all these principle modes for each gesture were organized to a dynamic gestures bag-of-words,and the similarity between the mode of unknown type dynamic gestures and the all bag-of-words were calculated. Then, the nearest neighbor method was used to recognize the dynamic gestures. The experimental results show that the dynamic gestures recognition based on multi-instance kinematics features principal mode learning methods can obtain a higher recognition rate.…”

Les mineurs devant le tribunal de première instance en Martinique (1937-1944) : enjeux et stratégies
Published 2020-03-01“…While in France the historiography on juvenile delinquency has had a significant development, thanks to the contribution of civil societies such as AHES-PJM, but also thanks to academic work (Henri Gaillac, 1970; Elise Yvorel, 2007; Ludvine Bantigny, Ivan Jablonka, 2009; Sophie Victorien, 2011; Jean-Jacques Yvorel, 2012), in the French Antilles this issue has not been adressed so far, except for Gaston-Jean, Bouvenet, 1936.Relying on Jean-Jacques Yvorel’s definition of juvenile delinquency as a result of social construct, we will examine a register that was kept by the president of the Court of first instance in Fort-de-France. …”

An End-to-End Framework for Neonatal Asphyxia Detection Through Video Analysis
Published 2025-01-01“…Third, we provide a curated time series video dataset of 12,973 frames from 45 neonates, of which some were healthy, and some had asphyxia of varying severity. The findings show that the YOLOv8-based instance segmentation achieved a mean average precision (mAP@0.5) of 0.925 for accurate skin region isolation, and the LightGBM classifier outperformed traditional models with an accuracy of 0.998 and an F1-score of 0.998. …”

An annotated high-content fluorescence microscopy dataset with EGFP-Galectin-3-stained cells and manually labelled outlineszenodo
Published 2025-02-01“…Outlines were labelled by three annotators, who had high inter-annotator agreement between them and with a biomedical expert, who labelled some of the objects for comparison and reviewed a subset of the labels, making minor corrections as needed. The dataset comprises over 2200 annotated cell objects in total, making it sufficient in size to train high-performing neural networks for instance or semantic segmentation. …”
