Analysis and Evaluation of the Effect of Different Connection Types on Water Quality of Huixian Wetland by WEI Chunyi, XU Baoli, MA Huijuan, DAI Junfeng, FANG Rongjie, XU Jueming, ZOU Chuanlin

    Published 2023-01-01
“…In order to figure out the effect of different connection types on the water environment of wetlands, the riverside wetland,river-connected pond wetland, and isolated pond wetland in Huixian town,Guilin city, were taken as the research objects. The single factor evaluation method, comprehensive pollution index method, and universal exponential formulas for logarithmic power functions were used to evaluate water quality and eutrophication of the wetlands. The results showed that:① the concentrations of ammonia nitrogen (NH+4-N),nitrate nitrogen (NO3-N),total nitrogen (TN),total phosphorus (TP),and chemical oxygen demand (CODCr) in Huixian wetland were 0.07~1.22、0.01~1.24、0.45~3.95、0.04~0.29、6.19~120.28 mg/L,respectively.The average concentration of NH+4-N and TN in the riverside wetland was higher than that of the other wetlands, while the concentration of NO3-N in the river-connected pond wetland was the highest. Moreover, the concentration of CODCr in the isolated pond wetland was the highest, and its TP concentration had the most significant fluctuation;② The water quality in Huixian wetland with different connection types was defined as inferior class V,with TN and CODCr as the major water quality factors exceeding the standard, and the wetlands all were in eutrophication. This study can provide a scientific basis for water environment governance and restoration of different wetlands in Huixian.…”

    Published 2007-09-01
“…The reduction in spike number is mainly attributed to few tillers and low effective tillers per plant. The significant differences were detected among the genotypes in their response of yield formation to waterlogging, and local race Yongjiahong Liuleng showed least yield loss, while the two Australian barley varieties had the greatest loss. …”
