Temporal and spatial response of agricultural drought to meteorological drought in inner Mongolia plateau inland river basin
Published 2025-08-01“…The results show that: (1) The three dimensional (3D) identification method can accurately and comprehensively understand the dynamic evolution process of drought events and regional drought development law; (2) A total of 28 drought event pairs were successfully matched from 1961 to 2021, and the matching results can ensure that the complex relationship between the two types of droughts on the temporal and spatial scale is closer to reality; (3) The optimal response models for duration, area and severity of drought in the study area are Gaussian Copula function, Clayton Copula function and Clayton Copula function, respectively. …”

Six‐Minute Walk Test Is Superior to Grip Strength as a Marker of Functional Recovery During Cancer Cachexia Rehabilitation
Published 2025-08-01“…Multivariate linear regression demonstrated that change in 6MWT (p < 0.0001) but not hGS (p = 0.084) correlated with Total Motor Score gain after controlling for age, disease burden, cancer type, previous cancer treatment and baseline motor function as covariates. Area under the curve analysis revealed that change in 6MWT (p < 0.0001, AUC = 0.77) was a stronger predictor of Total Motor Score gain than hGS (p = 0.0016, AUC = 0.59). …”

Constructing an Ecological Spatial Network Optimization Framework from the Pattern–Process–Function Perspective: A Case Study in Wuhan
Published 2025-07-01“…We further assess the effectiveness of two scenario types: “pattern–function” and “pattern–process”. The results reveal a distinct “increase-then-decrease” trend in EN structural attributes: from 2000 to 2020, source areas declined from 39 (900 km2) to 37 (725 km2), while corridor numbers fluctuated before stabilizing at 89. …”

Rac1 is required for epithelial stem cell function during dermal and oral mucosal wound healing but not for tissue homeostasis in mice.
Published 2010-05-01“…The relative contribution of the hair follicle stem cells and the interfollicular stem cells to dermal wound healing is an area of active investigation. Recent studies have revealed that the small GTPase Rac1, which regulates cell migration and nuclear gene expression, is required for hair follicle stem function but not for the normal homeostasis of the interfollicular skin.…”
