Power allocation under per-antenna power constraints in multiuser MIMO systems by Sheng-qian HAN, Chen-yang YANG

    Published 2012-10-01
“…A low-complexity power allocation algorithm was investigated under per-antenna power constraints(PAPC)in multiuser multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems. It was shown that the optimal power allocation subject to PAPC,aimed at maximizing the sum rate of multiple users with zero forcing (ZF) precoders, had the structure of water-filling with multiple water-levels.Based on this result, the equivalence between PAPC and weighted sum power constraints was proved and a low-complexity suboptimal power allocation method was then proposed.Simulation results show that the proposed method outperforms the existing equal power allocation method and the heuristic method, and it can efficiently reduce the computational complexity with a negligible performance loss compared with the optimal power allocation method.…”

EFFECT OF THE NEW FARMING SYSTEM-ZERO TILLAGE IN GROWTH,YIELD AND ITS COMPONENTS OF BREAD WHEAT ,DURUM WHEAT AND BARLEY CROPS IN MODERATE RAINFALL AREA IN NINEVAH PROVINCE.

    Published 2014-12-01
“…The grain yield results showed that the ZT planting method was equal with farmer planting method (conventional tillage) in all locations and crops studied while chisel planting method was the superior in this trait , this result is encouraging for the adoption of this new technology because the input in a ZT doesn't need cultivation, while in other studied traits results showed that the chisel method excelled in 15 traits, while the ZT method excelled in 9 traits and the farmer methods in 4 traits only, this results strengthens the recommendation to adopt the ZT planting method for its limited implementation cost compared with the rest of the planting methods . …”

Geodetic data inversion to estimate a strain-rate field by introducing sparse modeling by Yohei Nozue, Yukitoshi Fukahata

    Published 2025-02-01
“…As a result, we find: (1) regardless of the locking depth of the fault, the proposed method reproduces localized strain rates near the fault with almost equal or better accuracy than the L2 regularization method (i.e., only the smoothness constraint); (2) the advantage of the proposed method over the L2 regularization method is clearer when data coverage is worse (i.e., when fewer observation points are available); and (3) the proposed method can be applied when observation errors are small. …”

Feedback bit allocation in distributed antenna array systems by Shuai ZHANG, Peng PAN, Cui WANG

    Published 2020-11-01
“…In a frequency division duplex communication system, precoding at the base station usually requires terminal feedback channel state information. In a distributed array system, the channel conditions between the terminal and different access nodes in the cell are different because multiple access nodes are arranged at different locations in the cell. When the resources for feedback channel state information are limited, the allocation method of feedback bit needs to be optimized to improve the overall performance of the system. In a multi-user distributed array system,an access node selection method based on distance threshold was adopted.Based on this method, the quantization characteristics of the random vector quantization codebook and the Taylor expansion method were used to derive the system quantization capacity loss, and then an approximate expression was given.Based on this expression,a feedback bit allocation method was proposed.Compared with other allocation methods, the method of this paper was more universal because it did not limit the number of access nodes selected by the user. The simulation results show that the strategy proposed is superior to the traditional equal-bit allocation scheme and can obtain better performance when the feedback resources are limited.…”
