Multi-scale electricity consumption prediction model based on land use and interpretable machine learning: A case study of China by Haizhi Luo, Yiwen Zhang, Xinyu Gao, Zhengguang Liu, Xiangzhao Meng, Xiaohu Yang

    Published 2024-12-01
“…Using 297 cities and 2,505 counties as case studies, the key findings are as follows: (1) The model demonstrates strong generalization ability (R2 = 0.91), high precision (Kappa = 0.77), and robustness, with an overall prediction accuracy exceeding 80 %; (2) The marginal impact of industrial land on electricity consumption is more complex, with more efficiency achieved by limiting its area to either 104.3 km2 or between 288.2 and 657.3 km2; (3) The marginal impact of commercial and residential land on electricity consumption exhibits a strong linear relationship (R2 > 0.80). …”

Individual Account of Rotor Current Displacement while Calculating Group Self- Starting of Asynchronous Electric Motors Being TPS Auxiliaries by V. I. Novach, R. F. Minachev

    Published 2003-12-01
“…The paper considers the possibility to make calculation of group self-starting of asynchronous electric motors being TPS auxiliaries with the help of generalized (averaged) dependences Kr{s), Kx{s) which are equal for all electric motors involved in self-starting process and which makes it possible to take into account displacement of rotor current. …”

Utilizing of seasonal time series forms in predicting the quantity of electric power demand in Erbil city between the year (2010-2019) by Ravaz Muhammad Salih, Marwan Taiq hasan

    Published 2020-12-01
“… In this study, the researchers took the phenomenon of the quantities of demand for electrical energy represented by a time series of monthly rates of the phenomenon for the city of (Erbil - Iraq) for the period (2010 - 2019) from (General Directorate of Electricity of the city of Erbil - the control department) and the series consisted of (111) values, Where the researchers noted when analyzing the chain, there is an increasing general trend of the phenomenon, and this indicates an increased demand for electrical energy by city residents with a few concavities and protrusions of the string values, and this indicates a case of non-stationary counting around the average and the variance, respectively, and it was also observed the presence of Seasonal compound, in other words, there are changes that repeat themselves every regular period (12 months) of the phenomenon, in other words that the need or demand increases its intensity for the mentioned period, and for the purpose of converting the chain to a state of stability around the average, the first difference was taken to remove the chain from the influence of the general trend either to convert the chain to be stable On the variance, the natural logarithm transformation of the time series was taken after the first difference was taken. …”
