Efficacy and Autopoiesis of the System of Science, Education, Law and Politics by Ksenija Grubišić

    Published 2024-01-01
“…Their complexity often makes it impossible to clearly determine the hierarchical structure itself, which raises the question of the sufficiency of certain dominant legal methods for a more comprehensive interpretation of the effects of the legal system. The paper examines whether and in what way the interpretation of the efficacy of the legal system by means of the reduced principle of imputation differs, or is insufficient, in relation to the reduction of complexity of the legal system by means of codes and operations that make it autopoietic. …”

A novel chaotic interleaving algorithm for mobile wireless channels by Xianping WANG, Hui CAO

    Published 2016-07-01
“…Interleaving technique is an efficient technique to resist serious burst errors over mobile wireless fading channels. To resist 2 dimensionality burst errors effectively,a novel chaotic interleaving algorithm based on Baker map was proposed. In the proposed scheme, the binary source sequence was converted to the data matrix, and then the data matrix was dispersed randomly by using the chaotic Baker map approach,in order to realize the function of transforming 2 dimensionality long bust error into the short 1 dimensionality short bust error after de-interleaving.In additional, the proposed algorithm was combined with the convolution code based on Viterbi decoding, and was applied into the scenario of convolutional codes (2,1,3) and the scenario of (2,1,7) separately for a performance comparison. The simulation results show that the performance of the proposed algorithm outperforms better than the traditional algorithms under image transmission over mobile wireless channel. Moreover, the anti-fading capability of the proposed algorithm grows as the packet length increases, while reducing the complexity significantly. Finally, the chaotic interleaver can also enhance every transmitted packet's security with different secret keys.…”

Research on rate-distortion cost estimation model for H.264 by Xin-zi ZHENG, Zhi-xin SUN

    Published 2012-06-01
“…A new rate distortion cost estimation model was proposed. To provide more accurate estimation of the number of coding bits for encoding intra / inter macro blocks, firstly a new bit rate estimation model was proposed. The rate estimation was a linear combination of existing coding parameters, which were more accurately related to entropy coding and transform coefficients.Secondly a new rate distortion cost estimation model which had superior performance was given. Finally,a detailed analysis on the rate distortion cost estimation model from many aspects such as the effect and the performance was taken.Experimental results show that the encoding speed is greatly accelerated in ensuring little change both in PSNR and coding bits.…”
