Millimeter-Wave Reflectometry for Detecting Graphite Contamination in Titanium (Ti64) Powder Used in Additive Manufacturing (AM)
Published 2025-01-01“…It is reported that a 0.05% (by weight) level of carbon contamination in powder feedstock can lead to defects in the final printed part. Crucially, the results of this investigation showed that graphite contamination levels as low as 0.0045% (percentage by weight) can be robustly detected by this method.…”

Study on the Repair Performance and Carbon Emission Analysis of Magnesium Phosphate Cement Prepared from Lithium Extraction Residue
Published 2024-11-01“…Magnesium phosphate cement (MPC), as a rapid-hardening and early-strengthening cementitious material, is commonly used for repairing concrete defects. To enhance the repair efficiency of MPC and its mortar, MPC mortar and paste with the addition of 40% fly ash and 20% slag were studied and designed to evaluate the performance of MPC in repairing different types of defects such as concrete cracks and surface spalling. …”

(2) Process mapping and risk prioritization were conducted using a 4-level severity/occurrence matrix (adapted from Australian clinical risk criteria) to calculate Risk Priority Numbers (RPN=Severity×Occurrence). …”

Loss of p21 does not protect against premature ovarian insufficiency caused by alkylating agents
Published 2025-07-01“…Ovarian reserve, folliculogenesis, cell proliferation, apoptosis and senescence, multinucleated giant cells (MGCs) and their characteristics, pro-inflammatory factors, fibrosis, ovarian stromal cell properties, and the expression of cell cycle inhibitors, including p16, p19, p27, and p53, were evaluated.ResultsFemale mice treated with alkylating agents exhibited typical features of POI, including a dramatic reduction in the number of primordial and growing follicles; defective folliculogenesis characterized by growth arrest in early-stage follicles, extensive atresia in mid-stage follicles, dysregulated FSH receptor (FSHr) expression in antral follicles, and abnormal over-activation of primordial follicles; the presence of hemosiderin-laden MGCs and fibrosis in the ovarian cortical region. p21 deficiency did not significantly mitigate these phenotypes. …”

Analysis of the Influence of Ferromagnetic Corrosion Products on Magnetic Flux Leakage Detection of Pipeline
Published 2024-10-01“…Magnetic flux leakage internal detection is an efficient method for detecting defects in long-distance pipelines. However, some corrosion points (such as stray current corrosion) contain a large amount of ferromagnetic corrosion products, which can affect the overflow of the leakage magnetic field at the defect site, resulting in a smaller evaluation of the detected data and even missed detections.Based on the fundamental principles of magnetic flux leakage internal detection, the reasons for the generation of leakage magnetic fields at defect sites were elucidated.Combined with pull-out tests and practical engineering cases, it was demonstrated that ferromagnetic corrosion products hinder the leakage of magnetic fields at corrosion defects. This provided technical support for enhancing the identification of such defects in the future and improving the effectiveness of pipeline magnetic flux leakage internal detection.…”
