    Published 2024-01-01
“…Since the fault vibration data collected in real engineering may be accompanied by noise, traditional diagnostic models are difficult to identify fault categories,to address this problem,a rolling bearing fault diagnosis research method based on channel and spatial reconstruction and progressive convolutional neural networks (CSRP-CNN) was proposed. The model utilizes channel and spatial reconstruction convolution (CSConv) to reduce the redundant information of channels and space in fault features, and reduces the complexity and computation to improve the performance; using convolutional block attention module (CBAM),attention enhancement operation was carried out in the channel and spatial dimensions to make the model pay attention to important fault feature information; and progressive convolutional network structure was used in the shallow layer of the network, which will fuse the previous fault feature information fused with the current input to obtain richer feature information. The performance of CSRP-CNN was evaluated by two different datasets of Case Western Reserve University(CWRU)and machinery fault simulator magnum(MFS-MG).After the noise and ablation tests,it is verified that CSRP-CNN has strong robustness and the effects of CSConv,CBAM and progressive convolutional neural network(PCNN) on the model noise immunity performance.…”

Real-time diagnosis of multi-category skin diseases based on IR-VGG by Ling TAN, Shanshan RONG, Jingming XIA, Sarker SAJIB, Wenjie MA

    Published 2021-09-01
“…Malignant skin lesions have a very high cure rate in the early stage. In recent years, dermatological diagnosis research based on deep learning has been continuously promoted, with high diagnostic accuracy. However, computational resource consumption is huge and it relies on large computing equipment in hospitals. In order to realize rapid and accurate diagnosis of skin diseases on Internet of things (IoT) mobile devices, a real-time diagnosis system of multiple categories of skin diseases based on inverted residual visual geometry group (IR-VGG) was proposed. The contour detection algorithm was used to segment the lesion area of skin image. The convolutional block of the first layer of VGG16 was replaced with reverse residual block to reduce the network parameter weight and memory overhead. The original image and the segmented lesion image was inputed into IR-VGG network, and the dermatological diagnosis results after global and local feature extraction were outputed. The experimental results show that the IR-VGG network structure can achieve 94.71% and 85.28% accuracy in Skindata-1 and Skindata-2 skin diseases data sets respectively, and can effectively reduce complexity, making it easier for the diagnostic system to make real-time skin diseases diagnosis on IoT mobile devices.…”

Graph signal processing based pilot pattern design and channel estimation for OFDM system by Bin HE, Guobing LI, Yuan CHEN, Guomei ZHANG

    Published 2022-09-01
“…Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is one of the key technologies in the physical layer of the internet of things (IoT).Pilot design and channel estimation are key issues in OFDM systems. In view of the problem of performance loss by fixed pilot pattern due to the complexity and variety of IoT communication scenarios, a pilot design and channel estimation scheme based on graph signal processing (GSP) was proposed.Firstly, the time-frequency resource block was modeled as a graph signal, and the channel estimation problem was reformulated into a sampling and reconstruction problem of the graph signal. Then, considering the influence of time-frequency fading, a weighted graph adjacency matrix was designed to construct a graph topology structure based on the time-frequency position. On this basis, the pilot position is selected based on the graph signal sampling theory, a greedy pilot pattern design algorithm based on weighted graph topology was proposed. At the same time, signal reconstruction was performed based on the graph signal reconstruction method, and a channel estimation method based on the graph smoothness constraint was proposed.Compared with the conventional scheme, simulation results show that the proposed method achieves higher channel estimation accuracy in high-speed scenarios of double selective channels, and effectively reduces pilot overhead in low-speed scenarios.…”
