Adaptive beamforming of massive MIMO based on DoA in high mobility scenarios
Published 2017-06-01“…A direction of arrival based (DoA-based) beamforming of massive MIMO was proposed for high-speed railway scenarios. In order to guarantee that the optimal system capacity can be obtained during traveling,an iterative multi-beams scheme was proposed. It aimed to design different beams for different mobile carriage terminals (MCT) respectively. The proposal adaptively selected the number of antennas for each beam, and adaptively designed the number of beams according to system capacity. Moreover, the scheme didn’t need channel state information (CSI) that can reduce system implementation complexity and cost.Numerical results indicate that the proposed scheme is suitable for high-speed scenarios, the system performance can be improved more efficiently compared to conventional methods.…”

PAPR optimization based on SLM and PTS algorithms in NC-OFDM systems
Published 2022-07-01“…Based on the non-continuous orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (NC-OFDM) model, a fusion optimization technology based on selected mapping (SLM) algorithm and partial transmit sequence (PTS) algorithm was proposed, and a system model of fusion technology was designed.Through simulation comparison with other literature methods, it was verified that the SLM-PTS fusion technology had excellent peak to average power ratio (PAPR) reduction ability, but the algorithm implementation complexity was too high. Therefore, a complementary SLM-Clipping fusion solution was proposed, and the deep learning method PAPRnet model was construted. The simulation results verif that prove the effectiveness of the method, the algorithm has an excellent PAPR suppressed effect on the NC-OFDM system, and greatly improves the computational efficiency.…”

Deep learning-based prediction of multi-level just noticeable distortion
Published 2024-01-01“…Visual just noticeable distortion (JND) directly reflects the sensitivity of the human visual system to visual signal noise, and is widely used in image and video processing.Aiming at the multilevel prediction problem of video JND threshold, it was transformed into the prediction problem of satisfied user ratio (SUR) curve, and a feature fusion-based SUR curve prediction model was proposed. The model was mainly divided into key frame extraction module, feature extraction and fusion module, and SUR score regression module. In the key frame extraction module, according to the visual perception mechanism, the spatial-temporal domain perception complexity was proposed and used as the video key frame judgment index. In the feature extraction and fusion module, a multi-scale dense residual network was proposed based on dense residual block (RDB) to realize image feature extraction and multi-scale fusion. The experimental results show that the proposed SUR curve prediction model is overall better than the existing models in terms of JND prediction accuracy and reduces the time cost by 8.1% on average in terms of operational efficiency.Meanwhile, the model can also be used to predict other layers of JND thresholds, which can be directly applied to video multilevel perceptual coding optimization.…”
