Detecting Introspective Errors in Consciousness Science by Andy McKilliam

    Published 2025-04-01
“…I argue that on closer inspection, the challenges associated with detecting introspective errors can be overcome. I demonstrate how natural kind reasoning—the iterative application of inference to the best explanation to home in on and leverage regularities in nature—can allow us to detect introspective errors even in difficult cases such as judgments about mental imagery, and I conclude that worries about intractable methodological challenges in consciousness science are misguided.…”

Error Analysis of Chemically Synthesized Polynucleotides by Karl H. Hecker, Randolph L. Rill

    Published 1998-02-01
“…Deletions are most likely to result from incomplete capping or de-tritylation. The observed error rate can become a significant limiting factor in applications that depend on the correctness of a polynucleotide sequence in individual insert clones.…”

Registry  Errors  in  the  Cadastre  under  Modern  Conditions by N.  A.  Bondareva

    Published 2019-04-01
“…Poor cadastral valuation leads to errors in the activity of a cadastral engineer. In particular, the lack of developed methodological support, speeding up the training of cadastral valuation staff, unreliability or lack of cadastral information in most areas of the country, obsolete equipment, the lack of R & D and the application of the method of mass valuation of real estate, which does not take into account the individual characteristics of the object of valuation, can result in registry errors. …”
