Statistical data analysis methods in Brillouin spectroscopy: Tutorial
Published 2025-06-01“…Since the majority of subcellular and extracellular matrix components are significantly smaller than 1 μm, many cell and tissue components become averaged in a single imaging voxel. This, in turn, presents a challenge for data analysis of Brillouin microscopy measurements collected from heterogeneous samples, especially since the cellular components often have similar and closely positioned spectral features. …”

Characteristic Analysis of Annual Sediment Transport Modulus of Xijiang River Basin in Guangxi over Last 60 Years
Published 2022-01-01“…Mann-Kendall rank correlation test,Spearman rank correlation test and Mann-Whitney-Pettitt abrupt change point analysis were performed to study the trend and mutation components of the annual sediment transport modulus of the Xijiang River Basin. Then, the kriging interpolation method was used for spatial interpolation in the mean and trend of the annual sediment transport modulus. After a double cumulative curve was drawn, the hydrological analysis method was employed to examine the causes of the changes in the annual sediment transport modulus. The results show that the average annual sediment transport modulus of the Xijiang River Basin increased in the 1960s—1970s but kept decreasing in the 1980s.The multi-year sediment transport modulus drops gradually from west and east to northeast in the 1960s,from outer to central in the 1970s,from northwest and east to south and northeast in the 1980s,from northwest and east to central and northeast in the 1990s,and from east and west to north in 2000—2009.In general, the multi-year average sediment transport modulus of the upper reaches is greater than that of the middle and lower reaches.Without the influence of precipitation change, the variation of the annual sediment transport modulus of the Xijiang River mainly results from human activities affecting the erosion and sediment yield of the basin. The contribution rate of precipitation change to the sediment transport modulus is 6.3%~12.3%,whereas that of human activities is 87.7%~93.7%.…”

Impact of radial modification coefficient of bevel gear on the load-bearing characteristics of differential
Published 2025-01-01“…Under different torque loadings, as the radial modification coefficient x1 of the planet gear increases from 0.1 to 0.2, the maximum stress at the tooth root decreases, while the average stress along the meshing line increases. When the radial modification coefficient x2 of the side gear decreases from -0.1 to -0.2, the maximum stress at the tooth root of the gear increases, and so does the average stress along the meshing line. …”

Analysis of Variation Characteristics of Precipitation Series from 1970 to 2019 in Qingyuan City
Published 2021-01-01“…In order to understand the variation characteristics of precipitation in Qingyuan City in recent decades, and realize the scientific management and utilization of water resources, based on the measured precipitation data of six representative hydrologic stations in Qingyuan from 1970 to 2019,this paper analyzes and studies the trend change, sudden change and periodic characteristics of annual precipitation in Qingyuan by moving average method,Mann-Kendall test method and Morlet wavelet analysis method. The results show that:The annual precipitation of Qingyuan Station and Zhukeng Station showed a decreasing trend, while that of Damiaoxia Station,Yingde Station,Yangshan Station and Lianxian Station showed an increasing trend, but the change was not significant. The sudden drop occurred around 1975 for Qingyuan Station and Yingde Station, around 2015 for Damiaoxia Station and Lianxian Station, around 1982 for Zhukeng Station.and around 1973 and 2015 for Yangshan Station. The precipitation series of each station has obvious alternation of wet and dry seasons. There are 3 to 4 main periods of precipitation at each station. The first and second main periods are generally 22 or 15 years, and the third and fourth main periods are generally 7 or 3 years. After 2015,the annual precipitation at each station turned into a decreasing trend.Currently,Qingyuan is in a period of low precipitation.…”
