Establishment and Production Costs for Southern Highbush Blueberry Orchards in Florida: Enterprise Budget and Profitability Analysis by Ariel Singerman, Marina Burani-Arouca, Jeffrey G. Williamson, Gary K. England

    Published 2016-11-01
“…Florida’s blueberry production represents a small fraction of total US production, but blueberries are nevertheless an important and valuable crop in the state because Florida growers benefit from the nation’s earliest market window. In fact, the average price for blueberries received by growers in Florida during the last three years was 2.5 times the US average. …”

Trend Analysis of Rainfall Erosivity in Liaoning Province (2003-2022) using the Mann-Kendall Test by Han Yu, Zhao Lian

    Published 2025-01-01
“…However, rainfall amount emerged as a critical determinant of erosivity; linear regression analysis revealed a strong positive correlation between annual average rainfall erosivity and annual average rainfall amount (R² = 0.565, P < 0.01), confirming rainfall quantity as a key predictor of erosive potential. …”

Relay selection algorithm based on selfish behavior analysis in ultra-dense D2D by Yijun WANG, Youxu ZHANG, Dakun LIU, Guifen CHEN

    Published 2021-04-01
“…In ultra-dense D2D communication, the current relay selection schemes mainly assume that the relay device has the initiative to participate in data forwarding, but some rational relay devices may delay or refuse to forward due to their own considerations, thus affecting the user experience. From the perspective of selfish behavior of relay devices, a method to identify selfish relay devices in D2D communication was proposed, and then an ultra-dense D2D relay selection algorithm based on selfish behavior analysis was proposed.Firstly, three relay identification attribute factors, namely joint interest degree (JID), forwarding history ratio (FHR) and relay physical state (RPS) were defined, and their weights were calculated by triangular fuzzy function to identify relay devices with selfish behavior.Secondly, based on the TOPSIS (technique for order of preference by similarity to ideal solution) method, the final relay equipment selection scheme relay was realized.Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can identify selfish relay devices more effectively in D2D communication.Compared with other relay selection algorithms, the proposed algorithm has made significant progress in the aspects of D2D communication forwarding success rate, system average throughput and average time delay.…”

Large language model integrations in cancer decision-making: a systematic review and meta-analysis by Yuexing Hao, Zhiwen Qiu, Jason Holmes, Corinna E. Löckenhoff, Wei Liu, Marzyeh Ghassemi, Saleh Kalantari

    Published 2025-07-01
“…We conducted a comprehensive search across PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus, and the ACM Digital Library through May 2024, identifying 56 studies covering 15 cancer types. The meta-analysis results suggested that LLMs were commonly used to summarize, translate, and communicate clinical information, but performance varied: the average overall accuracy was 76.2%, with average diagnostic accuracy lower at 67.4%, revealing gaps in the clinical readiness of this technology. …”
