Analysis of the spatial pattern and causes of ecological environmental quality in Myanmar based on the RSEI model and the Geodetector-GCCM method by Shuangfu Shi, Shuangfu Shi, Shuangyun Peng, Shuangyun Peng, Zhiqiang Lin, Zhiqiang Lin, Bangmei Huang, Dongling Ma, Dongling Ma, Ziyi Zhu, Ziyi Zhu, Yilin Zhu, Yilin Zhu, Rui Zhang, Ting Li

    Published 2025-02-01
“…The results indicate that: (1) Myanmar’s overall EEQ was relatively good, but there is significant spatial heterogeneity; (2) Local spatial autocorrelation analysis revealed a clear spatial clustering pattern of EEQ in Myanmar; (3) Geodetector analysis identified DEM, slope, Net Primary Productivity (NPP), land use, and human footprint as the dominant factors influencing EEQ, with significant interactions among these factors; (4) GCCM analysis further verified the significant causal effects of DEM, slope, NPP, and human footprint on EEQ, while the causal effects of temperature, precipitation, and land use are relatively weaker. …”

Analysis of Non-linear Relationship of PM2.5 Mass Concentration with Aerosol Extinction Coefficient and RH in Hefei, China by Yinan Chen, Shiguo Zhang, Yonghua Wu, Kee Yuan, Jian Huang, Dongfeng Shi, Shunxing Hu

    Published 2023-10-01
“…Based on Mie scattering theory, we derived a non-linear analytical expression among the PM2.5 mass concentration, aerosol extinction coefficient, and hygroscopic factor. We analyzed 1-year data of aerosol size distribution, PM2.5, visibility, and relative humidity (RH) and refined the exponential factors for improving PM2.5 estimated from the aerosol extinction coefficient in Hefei, China. …”

Study on scour simulation and boundary condition conversion technology for a shallow foundation bridge by Gangping Fan, Huanzhe Li, Tianzhuo Wang, Jian Che, Xing Li, Chunyang Dou, Tong Wu

    Published 2025-02-01
“…To prevent and mitigate scouring risks, this paper investigates the riverbed scouring characteristics of shallow foundation bridges under different hydrological conditions. The study found that under high water levels and flow velocities, scour depth significantly increased.Under extreme hydrological conditions, a horseshoe vortex forms at the base of the front end of the bridge pier, causing scour pits on both sides of the upstream face of the foundation, which is the main cause of foundation voids that first appear at 2580 s with a maximum scour depth of -2.51 m and a void area of 0.5%, continuing to increase over time.Based on simulated scouring data, this study proposes a method for converting boundary conditions from a scouring model to a mechanical model. …”
