Static and Modal Analysis of a Box Structured Satellite Deployment Mechanism with Self-Actuated Torsion Joint by Dongping Sheng, Renzhe Ma, Chun Su

    Published 2024-03-01
“…Firstly, the modal analysis of deployment mechanism at folded and fully deployed state is analyzed, and the result showed that the proper wall thickness is the key parameter to satisfy the design requirement and an optimized value could be obtained; Secondly, the heat deformation analysis result showed that the material plays an more important roll on affecting the thermal deformation than structure parameter; Thirdly, Under the torsional moment of the joints, the stress distribution of the deployment mechanism under different folding angle is investigated, it could be clearly found that the maximum stress is always located on the bonded area of the rod and joint, and the maximum stress is increased with the opening angle generally. …”

Satellite Cells: Regenerative Mechanisms and Applicability in Muscular Dystrophy by Gustavo Torres de Souza, Rafaella de Souza Salomão Zanette, Danielle Luciana Aurora Soares do Amaral, Francisco Carlos da Guia, Claudinéia Pereira Maranduba, Camila Maurmann de Souza, Ernesto da Silveira Goulart Guimarães, João Vitor Paes Rettore, Natana Chaves Rabelo, Antônio Márcio Resende do Carmo, Fernando de Sá Silva, Carlos Magno da Costa Maranduba

    Published 2015-01-01
“…The heterogeneous cell population may be classified by specific markers. In spite of the significant amount of variation amongst the satellite cell populations, it seems that their activity is tightly bound to the paired box 7 transcription factor expression, which is, therefore, used as a canonical marker for these cells. …”

Land Use Mapping of the Guangdong–Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Based on a New Approach at 30 m Resolution for the Years 1976 to 2020 by Yu Gu, Yangbo Chen, Jun Liu

    Published 2025-01-01
“…In either case, fine-scale annual variation over longer time spans may not be reflected. In this study, the Google Earth Engine platform, Landsat satellite imagery, and a substantial number of manually interpreted samples were used to develop a dataset of annual land use changes in the Guangdong–Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) at a 30 m resolution for the years 1976 to 2020. …”

Satellite microglia: marker of traumatic brain injury and regulator of neuronal excitability by Alicia B. Feichtenbiner, Karinn Sytsma, Ryan P. O’Boyle, Rhonda Mittenzwei, Heather Maioli, Kathryn P. Scherpelz, Daniel D. Child, Ning Li, Jeanelle Ariza Torres, Lisa Keene, Amanda Kirkland, Kimberly Howard, Caitlin Latimer, C. Dirk Keene, Christopher Ransom, Amber L. Nolan

    Published 2025-01-01
“…At the same time, network hyperexcitability is present in both mouse and human orbitofrontal cortex. Our findings support a role for loss of homeostatic control by satellite microglia in the maladaptive circuit changes that occur after traumatic brain injury.…”

    Published 2025-01-01
“…Combining our velocity measurement with Gaia proper motions, we find that Aquarius III is currently situated near its orbital pericenter in the outer halo ( r _peri = 78 ± 7 kpc) and that it is plausibly on first infall onto the Milky Way. This orbital history likely precludes significant tidal disruption from the Galactic disk, notably unlike other satellites with comparably low velocity dispersion limits in the literature. …”
