An adaptive sliding mode fault-tolerant control of variable speed reaching law for steer-by-wire systems by Jinwen Yang, Yinquan Yu, Dequan Zeng, Yiming Hu, Junhui Liu, Kai Liu, Giuseppe Carbone, Shaohua Luo, Xiaofeng Zhu

    Published 2025-04-01
“…To solve the inadequate tracking accuracy resulting from actuator fault and system disturbances, an adaptive sliding mode fault-tolerant control strategy based on a variable-speed reaching law (VSRL-ASMFTC) is proposed. By integrating an adjustment function into the constant-velocity reaching polynomial and designing an adaptive law, dynamic updating of the control law is achieved. …”

Particle Size Characteristics of Flood Sediments in Floodplain and Historical Flood Events of Hengyang Reach of Xiangjiang River by Xiong Pingsheng, Liu Liang, Zhang Chuchu, Hao Liting, Huang Linjuan

    Published 2022-02-01
“…[Objective] The flood information recorded in floodplain sediments during the historical period was analyzed in order to reveal the extreme flood events and the regularity of flood occurrence, and to provide guidance for flood control and disaster reduction. [Methods] Particle size characteristics and flood events for the floodplain profile of Hengyang Reach of the Xiangjiang River in Hu'nan Province were studied based on particle size analysis of 91 samples from the flood plain combined with AMS 14C dating. …”

Coordinate Representations for Interference Reduction in Motor Learning. by Sang-Hoon Yeo, Daniel M Wolpert, David W Franklin

    Published 2015-01-01
“…Here we examine the extent to which each of these three possible coordinate systems--Cartesian hand position, shoulder and elbow joint angles, or hand orientation--underlies the reduction in interference. Subjects performed goal-directed reaching movements in five different limb configurations designed so that different pairs of these configurations involved a change in only one coordinate system. …”

Attribution Analysis of Runoff Change in the Upper Reaches of the Liuchong River Basin Based on Coupled Water-energy Balance Equation by LONG Da, DONG Qianjin, YANG Rongfang

    Published 2021-01-01
“…Taking the upper reaches of the Liuchong River in Guizhou Province as the study area, this paper first analyzes the trend and abrupt change of the annual runoff at Qixingguan Station in the Liuchong River by the Mann-Kendall test and Pettitt test to find the abrupt change points, then, discusses the reasons of runoff change before and after the abrupt change points by the coupled water-energy balance equation, finally, calculates the contribution rates of precipitation, potential evapotranspiration and underlying surface to runoff change through the sensitivity analysis of their elastic coefficients. The results show that:The depth of runoff in the upper reaches of the Liuchong River shows a significant downward trend from 1971 to 2009,and a significant abrupt change occurred in 1986.By comparing the sensitivity of precipitation, potential evapotranspiration, and underlying surface to runoff change,it is found that the elastic coefficient of precipitation is the highest, followed by the underlying surface index, and finally the potential evapotranspiration, indicating that runoff is the most sensitive to the change of precipitation. In addition, based on the results of the contribution rate of the three factors to the reduction of runoff,it is found that the contribution rate of decreasing precipitation to runoff reduction is as high as 113.3%,followed by the change of underlying surface, with a contribution rate of 14.4% and finally the increasing potential evapotranspiration, with a contribution rate of -27.7%.…”
