Preschoolers' prosocial behavior in groups—Testing effects of dominance, popularity, and friendship
Published 2025-02-01“…Our findings suggest that sharing and helping have similar as well as different antecedents and underlying motivations and depend on social relationships between the children. Such effects can be examined more effectively when taking a developmental-ecological approach and investigating prosocial behavior in children's natural social environment.…”

scCamAge: A context-aware prediction engine for cellular age, aging-associated bioactivities, and morphometrics
Published 2025-02-01“…Summary: Current deep-learning-based image-analysis solutions exhibit limitations in holistically capturing spatiotemporal cellular changes, particularly during aging. We present scCamAge, an advanced context-aware multimodal prediction engine that co-leverages image-based cellular spatiotemporal features at single-cell resolution alongside cellular morphometrics and aging-associated bioactivities such as genomic instability, mitochondrial dysfunction, vacuolar dynamics, reactive oxygen species levels, and epigenetic and proteasomal dysfunctions. scCamAge employed heterogeneous datasets comprising ∼1 million single yeast cells and was validated using pro-longevity drugs, genetic mutants, and stress-induced models. scCamAge also predicted a pro-longevity response in yeast cells under iterative thermal stress, confirmed using integrative omics analyses. …”

4-1BB agonist targeted to fibroblast activation protein α synergizes with radiotherapy to treat murine breast tumor models
Published 2025-02-01“…We hypothesized that IR increases FAP expression in CAFs, therefore the combination of IR with targeted immunomodulators such as an agonistic anti-FAP-4-1BBL fusion protein could enhance the immune-mediated antitumoral effects of these treatments. Methods The murine transplantable TS/A tumor-cell-line co-engrafted with CAFs was used to investigate increases in FAP expression in tumors following irradiation using immunohistochemistry, real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and multiplex tissue immunofluorescence. …”

Published 2021-03-01“…To investigate the effect of anthropogenic activities on the temporal change in this parameter, we categorized the monitoring data into those from within and without the entry-restricted zone. The latter exhibited a higher rate of decrease in the RF, which agrees with the previously reported data on the time dependence of the air dose rate and suggests that anthropogenic activities promote environmental remediation and reduce atmospheric radiocesium. …”
