    Published 2025-04-01
“…A multivariable Cox model evaluated eight variables: cast type, age (>6 vs. ≤6 months), sex, laterality (bilateral/unilateral), IHDI grade (IV/III), birth presentation, delivery mode, and family history, allowing quantification of independent predictors associated with treatment failure risks.ResultsThe analysis of 146 DDH cases (70 short-leg vs. 76 long-leg casts) revealed significant outcome differences between cast types. …”

    Published 2025-12-01
“…CT was significantly thicker in groups A and B than in group C (all p < 0.05). Multivariable regression analysis showed that the free triiodothyronine was significantly negatively correlated with the VD of SCP in the parafoveal regions in groups B and C (p < 0.05) and proptosis was significantly positively correlated with the VD of SCP in groups A and B (all p < 0.05).Conclusion We noted a difference in the VD of SCP and CC between patients with TAO and patients with hyperthyroidism without signs of TAO. …”

    Published 2019-08-01
“…TEi was 9.2% and 17.3% in GCC patients, 18.1% and 3.5% in active and non-active cancer patients, and 24.0% and 12.9% in multiple and single primary, respectively. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that colorectal cancer (CRC) (OR 2.371; 95% CI 1.328 to 4.233), active cancer (OR 7.593; 95% CI 2.950 to 19.543) and multiple primary (OR 2.527; 95% CI 1.189 to 5.370) were independently associated with TEi.Conclusion TEi was 14.0% among Japanese GCC patients received chemotherapy, and was significantly higher among patients with CRC, active cancer and multiple primary than among those with gastric cancer, non-active cancer and single primary, respectively.Trial registration number UMIN000018912.…”
