Mathematical Modelling of Heat Transfer System of Convective Heating Surfaces of TPP-210А Steam Boiler
Published 2020-06-01“…The obtained results of modelling of the convective heat transfer system enable mode calculations of the dependence of the temperature and thermal mode of the heating surfaces on the variation of the heat carriers input temperature, relative changes of the heat carrier flow and heating surface area. This mathematical model is practicable for revealing possible improvements of the convective heat transfer system and for assessing the effects of the changes made to the heat transfer system basing only on the known values of the input and output temperatures of the heat carriers in the initial mode.…”

A Mathematical Approach to the Buckling Problem of Axially Loaded Laminated Nanocomposite Cylindrical Shells in Various Environments
Published 2025-01-01“…In this study, the solution of the buckling problem of axially loaded laminated cylindrical shells consisting of functionally graded (FG) nanocomposites in elastic and thermal environments is presented within extended first-order shear deformation theory (FOST) for the first time. The effective material properties and thermal expansion coefficients of nanocomposites in the layers are computed using the extended rule of mixture method and molecular dynamics simulation techniques. …”

Mathematical Modeling of New Algorithms for Single-Phase Earth Faults Protection in a Compensated Electrical Network
Published 2019-06-01“…Scientific novelty comprises determining the direction of reactive power using both the current and voltage after the filters, and also their derivatives, which significantly improves the sensitivity and stability of the relay; the performance of filters being controlled depending on the instantaneous values of the zero sequence voltage amplitude, which ensures the stability of the filters; the implementation of a two-channel protection relay for receiving a constant (instead of a pulsating) signal at the output device. The effectiveness of the developed protection is confirmed by the results of the mathematical modeling, tests on a laboratory bench and the supply of full-scale signals registered by the recorders in real networks.…”
