An Integrated Approach for Multiarea Reliability Improvement With Risk-Based Contingency Analysis and Optimal Load Curtailment
Published 2025-01-01“…The approach identifies critical transmission lines and least reliable buses, enabling utilization of load curtailment strategies. Meta-heuristic techniques, particle swarm optimization (PSO), and gray wolf optimization (GWO), are employed for optimal load curtailment, achieving approximately 30% reduction in curtailed load compared to the analytical proportional load curtailment approach. …”

High-Performance Speed Control of PMSM Using Fuzzy Sliding Mode with Load Torque Observer
Published 2025-06-01“…In comparison to previous work in hybrid SMC using fuzzy logic and torque observers, this p proposes a hyperbolic tangent function in replacement of the signum function to solve the conflict between rapidity and chattering in the traditional exponential reaching law, and fuzzy and segmental self-tuning rules adjust relevant switching terms to reduce chattering and improve the sliding mode arrival process. A load torque observer is designed to enhance the system’s anti-interference ability by compensating the observed load torque to the current loop input. …”

Neoantigen load as a predictor of relapse in early-stage NSCLC: features that agonise and antagonise prognosis
Published 2025-08-01“…Methods Whole-exome sequencing (WES) data from 89 resected early-stage NSCLC patients were used to identify non-synonymous single-nucleotide variants (nsSNV) and to predict major histocompatibility complex class I neoantigens. Neoantigen load, differential aggretopicity index (DAI), neoantigen frequency (number of neoantigens per nsSNV) and neoantigen promiscuity (ability to bind multiple human leucocyte antigen (HLA) alleles) were assessed for association with time to recurrence (TTR) and recurrence-free survival (RFS). …”

Improved Antitumor Efficiency of N4-Tetradecyloxycarbonyl Gemcitabine-Loaded Liposomes for Pancreatic Cancer Chemotherapy
Published 2024-12-01“…However, its short half-life in plasma and adverse effects limited its broader application. Methods: A novel Gem derivative (N4-tetradecyloxycarbonyl gemcitabine, tcGem) was synthesized and encapsulated into liposomes (LipotcGem) to overcome the above shortcomings. Results: LipotcGem has been successfully formulated, with the average size of 115 nm, zeta potential values of − 36 mV, encapsulation efficiency of up to 98%, and drug loading capacity of 8.1%. Compared to Gem, LipotcGem improved in vitro antitumor activity significantly, as evidenced by the lower IC50, the higher percentage of apoptotic cells, the stronger ability to inhibit cell migration and invasion due to the higher cellular accumulation (100 times). …”
