Dynamical interaction network in urban traffic by Shiyan Liu, Guanwen Zeng, Ruiqi Li, Linhan Guo, Daqing Li, Daqing Li

    Published 2025-06-01
“…However, existing research has overlooked the dynamical nature of these interactions, which are essential for capturing the changing behavior of urban traffic.MethodsIn this study, we use a pairwise maximum entropy model to infer interaction networks from sliding time windows and analyze their dynamics during typical daily periods: morning peak, noon off-peak, and evening peak.ResultsWe find that (1) interaction networks remain stable within each period but exhibit structural shifts between periods, especially between peak and off-peak periods; (2) stable high-strength edges in dynamical interaction network are characterized by long-range and negative interactions; (3) the proportion and modularity of positive interactions, along with the strength of negative interactions, are important structural features that distinguish peak from off-peak hours.DiscussionThese results provide new insights into how local interaction dynamics drive global state transitions in urban traffic, offering guidance for improving traffic resilience through targeted control strategies.…”

In-Silico Investigation of PAI-1 Structural Changes in Active Forms of The Protein by Kaveh Haji-Allahverdipoor

    Published 2024-01-01
“…Subsequent analyses, including root mean square deviation (RMSD), root mean square fluctuation (RMSF), and solvent-accessible surface area (SASA), were performed over a 40 ns molecular dynamics (MD) simulation. Results: The data analysis of MD simulations and superimposed structures revealed that the stability of the Neovison PAI-1 protein is slightly higher than that of the Human PAI-1 protein; however, this difference is negligible. …”

A low complexity dynamic subarray combination method for MIMO transmitter by Cui WANG, Peng PAN, Shuai ZHANG, Junrong YAN

    Published 2020-08-01
“…For the mmWave MIMO system using a partially-connected structure,in order to improve the spectral efficiency, the antenna composition of each subarray will be dynamically adjusted according to the channel conditions. However, the optimal grouping of antennas requires exhaustive searching for all possible antenna combinations according to certain criteri, which leads to unacceptable complexity. In response to the problem,a low-complexity sub-array dynamic allocation method was proposed. The core was to introduce certain rules when grouping array elements, thereby significantly reducing the number of combinations and reducing the search range.Specifically, two low-complexity antenna combination algorithms were proposed.Firstly, considering the strong correlation between mmWave antennas, multiple adjacent antennas were virtualized as an array element, thereby reducing the search space.Secondly,by dividing all antennas into upper and lower half areas, the antenna combination based on partition was realized, and the search space was also reduced.Simulation results show that the proposed method can achieve a good trade-off between performance and complexity.…”

Review on Applications of System Dynamics Method in Regional Water Demand Prediction by QIN Huanhuan

    Published 2022-01-01
“…Water resources are the most important basic natural resources for the sustainable development of the social economy, the controlling element of the ecological environment, and strategic economic resources. With the growth in population and economic development, regional water consumption is increasing, and the imbalance between the supply and demand of water resources has become the “bottleneck” restricting regional economic development.Water demand prediction is an important basis for the planning, management, and sustainable utilization of regional water resources, which involves complex factors such as economic, hydrological, meteorological, social, engineering, and technological factors as well as the industrial structure and industrial and agricultural development. The system dynamics method based on the feedback control theory has significant advantages in the dynamic change, causal mechanism analysis, quantitative analysis and simulation of a multi-factor coupled complex giant system. It has been widely used in the prediction of regional water demand. The system dynamics model of regional water demand prediction can decompose a complex social water use system into multiple interconnected and mutually constrained subsystems. It can clearly show the dynamic change process of water demand of each water use subsystem and obtain accurate prediction results of water demand. In this paper, firstly, the characteristics of the system dynamics method are briefly introduced. Then, the applications of this method in regional water demand are summarized and analyzed from four aspects,i.e.…”
